Treasure Child is the story of Abu the Flutemaker, an 86-year-old musician who transformed his life by creating unique instruments from discarded materials.

The film follows Abu’s creative process and celebrates his impact on the Baltimore community. While doing so, the story confronts the social and historical conditions that made his craft both necessary and revolutionary.
